‘To the brave and broken hearted who
have taught us how to rise after we fall.
Your courage is contagious’ – Brene Brown
Taking that first step...
Hope is what carries people forward, even in their darkest moments. It can begin as something small—being seen, the feeling of being truly heard and understood, or the realisation that they are not alone. Resilience is what turns that hope into something lasting. It is the ability to adapt, to regain a sense of control, and to keep going, even when life feels overwhelming.

Resilience is not about avoiding pain or hardship—it’s about finding ways to move through them. It’s the quiet strength that allows people to rebuild after loss, make sense of change, and believe in their own ability to shape the future. I have seen firsthand how, with the right support, people can rediscover their inner strength, develop new coping strategies, and move forward with renewed confidence.

This belief in the power of resilience, growth, and renewal underpins everything I do. No matter how lost or broken someone may feel, I hold onto the certainty that things can get better—and I work alongside people to help them find their own way forward with acceptance, hope and resilience.

Before we start, it's important that we have an informal conversation to make sure we both believe that we can work together, and the best way to do that is a free informal conversation. If for whatever reason, either person doesn't believe that it's the right fit, I will do my best to introduce you to one of my network who may be a better fit. My background in HR means I'm very understanding of all viewpoints, and will do my best to make sure you get the help you're looking for, be that with me or someone else.

I offer face-to-face counselling sessions in Bromsgrove and Droitwich .
In-person work often allows for greater depth within the therapeutic relationship. Being physically present with a client enables a more immediate experience of non-verbal communication—including body language, facial expressions, and tone—which can offer valuable insight into what may be unspoken or difficult to express.
This enriched relational dynamic often enhances emotional attunement and deepens the therapeutic process, allowing us to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in a more embodied and intuitive way.

I also offer remote counselling via secure video or telephone. This option can be especially helpful if you prefer the convenience, privacy, or comfort of working from your own home, or if you have limitations that make attending in-person sessions more difficult.
I am fully qualified in Online and Telephone Counselling, ensuring our work together remains safe, ethical, and effective, even when we are not in the same physical space.

Each session lasts 50 minutes
Sessions are available in-person, via video, or by telephone

If you're considering counselling or would like to explore how we might work together, I would be happy to hear from you.
