Helping You Work Through a Range of Issues
At Resilient Minds Counselling, I support individuals through a wide range of emotional difficulties and life transitions. My integrative, trauma-informed approach creates a safe, non-judgemental space where your experiences are honoured—whether you're navigating recent challenges or exploring deeper patterns that impact your emotional wellbeing.
Grief and Loss
Including bereavement, anticipatory grief, and the more invisible forms of grief that arise from loss of identity, role, or direction in life.
Miscarriage
I offer sensitive, support for individuals and couples experiencing pregnancy loss. This includes the often-unspoken grief of pregnancies that didn’t ‘feel real,’ or where the loss is of something intangible—the imagined future, the identity of becoming a parent, and the promise of hopes and dreams.
Fertility and IVF Journeys
The IVF process can be emotionally and physically demanding, bringing hope, fear, disappointment, and exhaustion in equal measure. I work with clients experiencing fertility-related grief, relationship strain, and the emotional toll of repeated cycles and medical intervention.
Stress and Burnout
Whether work-related, family-driven or due to long-term overwhelm, we can explore how to reduce pressure, build boundaries and reconnect with what replenishes you.
Anxiety and Panic
Whether work-related, family-driven or due to long-term overwhelm, we can explore how to reduce pressure, build boundaries and reconnect with what replenishes you.
Depression and Low Mood
Including emotional numbness, self-doubt, lack of motivation, or a loss of connection with self and others.
Loss of Identity or Purpose
A common experience during major life transitions such as motherhood, redundancy, retirement, or relationship breakdown.
Relationship Issues
Including communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, conflict, attachment wounds, and unmet emotional needs.
Divorce and Separation
Supporting you through the grief, uncertainty, and adjustment that can come with the end of a relationship.
Loss of Self
When you no longer feel like “you,” or have become emotionally distant from your needs, passions, or sense of direction.

Whether you are grieving something visible or invisible, adjusting to change, or feeling stuck and uncertain, therapy offers a space to reflect, feel, and gently rediscover your resilience.

Corporate Counselling/Small Business
I also offer counselling for companies and organisations, including small businesses. Clients are accepted for counselling on the understanding that they can discuss any issues they feel are important to them in a confidential space.

I will work with clients to develop strategies that may help them feel more resilient. Six sessions are initially suggested. If you would like to discuss this, please get in touch.

Fast Track Single Session
Fast track single session is a form of solution focused counselling that lasts a single session. The session is focused on a specific issue that is concerning you. The goal is to help you to identify your next steps to meaningfully address the issue.
Fast access single session therapy focuses on the issue you are focusing on in the here and now instead of exploring how the issue arose or theories about root causes.
It is intended to be pragmatic, and for you to leave the session with a plan that helps you move forward. Fast access single session therapy is a good option when:
You are facing a specific issue and you need some help identifying what to do next.
You want to try out counselling to see if this is of help to you.
You feel you need some support quite quickly.
More help is available after a fast access single session therapy session if needed and you can move into ongoing counselling with me if that is the right choice for you.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is all about changing the way you think, which in turn changes the way you feel. It rests on the idea that difficult emotions aren’t always caused by a traumatic event but rather how we think about our life experiences. Sometimes events can trigger feelings, thoughts and emotions that feel like an unstoppable runaway train, and CBT helps you get this process under control. We will look closely at negative thoughts and habits that feel uncontrollable and, over time, gradually replace these with healthier behaviour and more realistic beliefs about yourself and the wider world.

CBT is a very popular approach for many therapists. It is widely researched, evidence based, highly effective, and quick to work compared to other talking therapies.
